ConvoCrate ("we", "our", or "the app") is a communications application that uses Twilio to send and receive messages on your behalf. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Website Interest List

If you join the prelaunch interest list, we collect your email, work category, business eligibility answer, proposed plan and team size, price and new-number preferences, and any optional feedback you provide. We also include campaign labels from the link you followed and limited context about the examples and pricing you viewed. We use these responses to assess demand, improve our offer, and send the launch updates you requested. Joining does not create an app account or subscription, and we do not collect payment information in this form.

Our website form is processed by Formspree. See Formspree’s privacy policy . We do not store your form answers in browser storage. To withdraw your request or ask us to delete your interest-list entry, email admin@convocrate.com.

Website Measurement

We use PostHog to measure landing-page visits, views of pricing and examples, form starts, and successful interest submissions. Events include bounded campaign labels, the proposed plan when submitted, and whether a response meets the experiment's eligibility and interest criteria. We do not send email addresses, feedback text, full page URLs, or referrer URLs to this measurement service, and we do not record your screen or form entries.

A random identifier groups actions during one page load. It is not stored in cookies or browser storage, and reloading creates a new identifier. These measurements count page visits, not uniquely identified people. PostHog also receives and stores network IP addresses; our events request no person profile or location enrichment. We skip measurement when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. See PostHog’s privacy policy.

Information We Collect

When you use ConvoCrate, we may collect the following information:

Account information — your name, email address, and phone number, used to set up and operate your account.

Message data — the content of messages you send and receive through the app, including sender and recipient phone numbers, timestamps, and message body text.

Usage data — basic information about how you interact with the app, such as feature usage and error logs.

Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version, collected for troubleshooting and compatibility purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the core messaging functionality of ConvoCrate via Twilio's communication services.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
• Communicate with you about your account or changes to the service.

Third-Party Services

ConvoCrate relies on Twilio to transmit messages. When you send or receive a message, data is processed through Twilio's infrastructure and is subject to Twilio's privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention

We retain message data and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Archived crates can be restored within 30 days. The application deletes archived crates after that period; archiving is not permanent record storage.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission of messages and secure storage of account data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

ConvoCrate is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other means. Your continued use of ConvoCrate after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
